Many thanks to Emily, Anabel, Brian, Amanda, and Victoria-Live Nation. VOBIS MAXIMAS GRATIAS AGO!! As is typical in this type of venue, however, there are some severe limitations as to where and when one can have one's camera out and pointed in anyone's direction. I was limited to the first two songs of each performer's set. Thus I don't have any of the downstage shots etc. during the Dolls' "Amsterdam" moment. Moreover, we weren't allowed to shoot the crowd which is why I don't have any shots of our two lovely brigaders when they were actually statuing. I did ask for and get permission to shoot the Dolls' "Meet" and "Greet" --yeah. Unfortunately this means I have no photos of Debbie Harry. Also, Cindy Lauper requested that the photographers be placed behind the sound booth during her set. This meant that, unless one happened to have an elephant gun sized 300 mm lens stashed nearby, one's shots would be somewhat more limited to say the least. And toward the end my previously injured ankle started swelling and paining me so badly I had to leave. Thus no finale shots. Much sadness there but overall much happiness for an evening filled with such pulsating goodwill and uplifting energy.
